📄️ Users and Departments
In order for employees to use WOX, they need to have user accounts in WOX. Each user account in WOX corresponds to a user or employee. Each account contains information including employee name, email address, mobile phone number(optional), password, job title(optional), job number(optional), gender(optional), and more. Employee uses the account and its credential to access WOX. There are many ways to create user accounts in WOX:
🗃️ Directory Synchronization
🗃️ Single Sign-On
📄️ VIP Users
Some employees can be labeled as VIP employees. VIP has privileges in booking resources. This is useful for some privileged employees such as executive teams.
Employees can have one or many assistants. Assistants are employees who can book resources on behalf of them. In such cases, the creator of the reservation is the assistant, and the host is the employee they assist.
📄️ User Groups
User groups offer another way to group users. You can add arbitrary employees into a group and configure rules and policies for them. Each location can create their own user groups.
📄️ Roles and Permissions
Roles and permissions are very flexible and powerful to manage access to features. Normally all users in system have Member or Visitor roles, until they are assigned to Administrator roles, or custom roles with configured permissions.
