Okta

Okta is an identity management service provider that allows employees to login various services using single sign-on.

What this does?

  • Allow employees to login WOX using Single Sign-On.

Pre-requisites

  1. Okta Administrator account
  2. WOX Space Administrator account

Set up Single Sign-On

  1. Login Okta as Administrator.
  2. Click Applications > Applications, click Create App Integration

  1. Select SAML 2.0, click Next:
  1. Enter an application name, such as "WOX". Enter description and App icon if desired.

  1. Fill in the form as below:

    Single Sign On URL Audience URI (SP Entity ID)

    Click Next

  2. Select "I'm a software vendor. I'd like to integrate my app with Okta". and click Finish:

  1. On Sign on tab, note Sign on URL

  1. Scroll down and click Certificate fingerprint, note SHA1 (formatted) value.

  1. Go to WOX Admin portal > Space > Integrations > SSO > Okta, enter the values above:

  2. By default, no users are assigned to the app so no one can login. Add users to the app by clicking Assignments tab, then Assign:

You can assign individual users or groups.

  1. To verify setup, click "My end user dashboard"

  1. Click WOX (or the application name you used above) icon:

You should automatically login to web portal if the user's email address has a match in WOX.
